Mini Dental Implant

Mini dental implants are an option for clients looking to replace lost teeth but who don’t want (or can’t receive) conventional restorations. You may find the surgery required for regular implants too invasive or lack the bone mass in your jaw to hold them.

Should this be the case, mini dental implants are the solution you’re looking for.

Mini dental implants have the same structure as regular implants, but are slightly smaller in form. They consist of a titanium post with a ball on the end, and a socket with a rubber ring that attaches the tooth to the post. There is a difference in size, too: regular implants are 3.4 to 5.8 mm wide, but mini implants are 1.8 to 3.3 mm in diameter and 10 to 15 mm long.

However, most importantly – mini dental implants are easy to do! They are usually installed in a single visit, using local anaesthesia and you can use your new teeth that same day!
